（中央社記者曾盈瑜台北21日電）立法院副院長洪秀柱今天說，與前美國副總統奎爾（Dan Quayle）相談甚歡。兩國邦交雖然斷了，彼此友誼還是長存，而且有很好的合作關係。

奎爾下午到立法院拜會洪秀柱。洪秀柱會後受訪表示，與奎爾談得非常開心。他是非常年輕就從政的政治人物，後來擔任到副總統，蠻有趣的一個人。

洪秀柱表示，和奎爾談到兩位布希總統對台灣的長期支持，美國跟台灣從二次大戰一起抗日、反法西斯主義，冷戰時期反對共產主義擴張，後來兩國邦交斷了，彼此友誼還是長存，而且有很好的合作關係，不管是在政治、經濟、安全上都是非常堅強的夥伴。

洪秀柱說，台美關係是這幾十年來最好的，台灣成為美國37個免簽證的國家。兩岸關係的穩定發展也符合美國利益，台灣不再是麻煩製造者，對於東亞地區的和平穩定具有相當貢獻。

蔡英文昨天見奎爾時說「相信明年會在政府內」。對此洪秀柱表示，蔡英文很有信心，她也很有信心。兩位女生參選，希望君子之爭樹立典範。

至於奎爾先拜會蔡英文才拜會洪秀柱，洪秀柱說，這個也要計較嗎？反正都見到面了，而且大家相談甚歡。1040721
